Wood By Wright Strops
The Wood By Wright Strop is made from genuine Horse Butt leather 7-9oz thickness. It comes in one of two styles. One has the logo in the center of the top and one has the logo in the corner. The logo is on both sides so you can use either side of the strop. I normally charge the rough side with honing compound and leave the smooth side clean for final polishing. Each strop is 8” long and 3” wide (except for logo sticking up 1/2” more) they are the same size as the DMT Diamond plates I use.

I am also offering seconds and thirds at a slightly cheaper rate. The seconds are strops that just missed the cut. They are all there but might be a bit thinner, or have a slight defect in the leather, but are perfectly good strops and will work and preform exactly like the main strops. the seconds may come with the logo in the center of the top or on the corner there are a few of both in there, but more commonly the logo is in the corner. The thirds mat be missing a corner or have a defect that will affect one corner, but they are still functional horse but and have all been logo branded. The thirds all have the logo in the corner of the strop.
Also, as a new addition, I am selling the large chunk of scraps leftover from making the strops. If you purchase a scrap piece it will be one or two pieces that will close to or more then one strop worth of leather (square inches). They are not branded. supplies are limited as there ate not many scraps leftover from making these. None of them are big enough to get a 3X8 chunk out of to make a full-sized strop, but I do not want to throw them out. You can see in the picture the average size of the scraps. Some are bigger and some are smaller. If you get the smaller ones I try to send and extra to make up the square inches. ish. If you have questions please feel free to ask.
